As part of support for amputee sport in Sierra Leone a number of clubs have donated kit which along with crutches have been shipped to Freetown. This project as part of churches together in Southern Ryedale has been a great inspiration to athletes locally and g!obally. If clubs have any further ideas on how this might develop in the future it would be helpful to hear from them. The sporting needs of resource poor countries is very great and as we know sport is a wonderful way of uniting people across the world and inspiring the most dis advantaged. Your comments would be we!come. Peter Clark. Chairperson of CTSR.
